    Yo,

That doesn't sound like a break, I think it's programmed. Right now, I'm goin' through my memory banks trying to recognize from where the drum sounds were sampled. If I think of it, I'll let you know. Welcome to the board, mane!!!

    Peace,

    Big Stacks from Kakalak

  • i thought it was programmed too...

but i recently heard a dj spinna remix that used the same drums (for panacea)

    i think its a break.

  • lol...what u want...

u can have anything in my vast collection (in mp3 format)

i'm also in a group called sputnik brown.

i could send you a 12" or something (if you REALLY know).

    welcome to the board..

its usually customary to post a clip of the song, just to help your quest along.. but mostly because my Itunes takes FOREVER to load

Seriously, that could be anything because it is just programmed drums.
Plus it's kind of a generic kit and beat; it's three separate samples= kick, snare, hi-hat.

If Spinna had something close, I'm sure it was only by coincidence, because, honestly, it sounds like the very first drum beat a brand new producer makes.

I wholeheartedly disagree with this. Listen again. No 'brand new' producer is going to make some shit that sounds and swings like that on their first beat. Trust me on that.

Maybe that was hyperbolic, but c'mon man. Are you going to tell me that beat is anything more than just-so?
