    I met that dude's dad years ago when I was working at First Ave, he told anyone and everyone he met that he wrote 'Funkytown'. The rapper kid has an older brother (or two, or some relation) who had an alt-rock band called The Native Suns, which was, yup, bankrolled by the old man. 'Funkytown' did alright for that clan!
