DAMMIT. Well it's a picture of Sir Jinx. What the hell ever happened to Sir Jinx?
One is a pop star and the other a Westcoast legend.
I mean the ubiquitous hooks for like 10 straight years. but yeah there's no way Akon is fucking with the Dogg.
you stay stealing my jokes. get your own shit and be original, chad.
*page me*
^^^^ RIDES FOR THE TWINZ ^^^^
but why? what happened?
he was on top of the game for ten years and then all of a sudden nathan!
i respect his hook on daz' "boys in the hood"
and chris martin, john mayer, dude from other crappy emo band that i'm blanking the name on and every other herb that kanye likes...
the Sklar brothers have a joke where they call Michael McDonald the Nate Dogg of the 70s
hahaha that's sorta true....but McDonald stays holding it down through the 2000's and beyond.
Well, you can't be the voice on every hit song foreverrrr
That and the kids probably didn't wanna sing along to the same dude their parents did.
i guess that's kind of correct. but i would accept this reasoning more if nate had made a bunch of bad artistic or business choices before his (relative) disappearance. a lot of artists who were successful as long as nate was have made some terrible songs or bad albums but stayed on top. nate avoided that. and moreover, he was never the type of artist who stuck his neck out, he was kind of like the supporting actor that stole the show.
maybe he was going through some personal shit or made an intentional choice to take a rest from the game. or maybe not. dude made a point, that snoop track "crazy" was a real nice summer jam. "when i aint around" too
Warren G - Regulate (and most of the whole Warren G album I guess)
Tupac - All About U
Thug Life - How Long Will They Mourn Me?
Snoop Dogg - Ain't No Fun (If The Homies Can't Have None)
Tha Dogg Pound - Big Pimpin'
Tha Dogg Pound - Let's Play House
Dr. Dre - The Next Episode
Ludacris - Area Codes
Damn...there's gotta be more I'm not thinking of.
the "Something About Mary"-style interludes ...
he feels bad (he feels bad)

what can you do when your feeling low
and your car just got repo-ed?
especially the advance, but:

DJ Quik "Melody For the V----"
Also recently listened to his St. Ides commercial, which is pretty good.
is this a reverse yacht rock joke?
Where I want to be
Get it right...
"We'd also like to meet Michael McDonald, who really was the Nate Dogg of his time. He'd come in, sing one line of the chorus and the crappiest of songs became hits. "Shine sweet freedom, shine a light on me, you are the magic, you're right where I want to be." "
