    i guess that's kind of correct. but i would accept this reasoning more if nate had made a bunch of bad artistic or business choices before his (relative) disappearance. a lot of artists who were successful as long as nate was have made some terrible songs or bad albums but stayed on top. nate avoided that. and moreover, he was never the type of artist who stuck his neck out, he was kind of like the supporting actor that stole the show.

    Didn't he have two crappy albums after the Death Row album? Or just one?

    It seemed like he couldn't really hang as a solo artist (I love the first album but he's got a lot of assists on that) and like I said, you just can't be the go-to hookman for all time. He had a long run.

    I forgot about 213 though, that wasn't that long ago.
