Here it is...76 minutes...102 different Dilla compositions...140 mb...256kb/s quality...mixed to perfection (though starts off a little janky, gets better every minute)...from the early days of little indian---to the late 90's blossom---to the 2000 beattapes---to the posthumous works---it's all here.it's a walk through the history of one of hip hops most prolific producers. please enjoy, and share with your friends.

    good mix jaymack! where do you find that bilal instumental?

    on a related note, i did an all dilla set 5 days after his passing, recorded it and put it out with the help of the 5th element record store here in mpls. all proceeds went to dilla.org and i'm happy to say we just sent mrs yancey a pretty nice check!

    it's been great to listen to this at work. one thing is driving me nuts though - what beat is that playing from 71:27 - 71:51? I'm blanking here and I need to play this out.

    kingotto: the bilal is from a promo cd. it has about 7 tracks and a gilles peterson interview at the end of it.

    pistol pete: as far as i know it's just a track off one of the beat cds. i'm not sure it was ever rapped over.
