    be more specific please...you can't group music according to decade!

    i'm not sick of 80s music. some of it, sure. but there was so much amazing music made in that decade. from the pixies and sonic youth to electro and boogie and hip-hop.

    but whats typically considered 80s music, yeah, im with you. a little bit sick of that. but i live next door to an "80s" bar and i hear the same 20 songs every night, so im a little bit biased.

    some of it will never get good with age...especially mid-to-late 80s recordings where they ditched analog for the newer "better" digital stuff. but some of it has aged quite well and sounds better with age.

    i'm really sick of that 1910s music. Sousa can kiss my a**.

    I was a bit too young to be into stuff like the Cure, the Smiths, Gang of Four, the Pixies, New Order, etc when it was out, so I'm not too tired of the rennasiance that music is seeing right now, but I am sick to DEATH of the imitatations.

    Would the fucking Bravery, the Dears, and all the other shameless biters please SIT down.

    All I know it is a LATE 80'S italo disco bloodshitting holy grail (one just went for US$860 on ebay yestesday and apparently another one for US$613 months ago). I would love just to HEAR it with a mp3 or something. I'm expecting the usual minimal synth "ah hou ah" italo buisiness i'm into.

    Even if you agree or not, italo is definitly the NEXT thing.

    But keep laughing at thoses covers and digging for braeks, JB covers, and scion.

    i mean im pretty sick of pop music in GENERAL from ALL DECADES

    i mean you really need to hear "the lion sleeps tonight", "slow ride", "Rio", "you can't touch this", "yeah" all the time?????

    all pop music gets irritatin after a spell.

    anyhow im goin to see gang of four live in may.

    and im goin to montreal next week.

    so you can best beleive i aint got no problem with 80's digs.

    Danceonamerica (incidently i was just listeneing to cream & sugar just hte other day) - Italo is already over man. the brits moved onto "Cosmic" and now they're fiending for a widescale Balearic revival.

    Italo is so last year.

    I'll cosign on hating all this 80's nostalgia shit. It is now fashionable to listen to all the music that sucked in the 80's and pretend it's good now. I mean it's not like we're talking about Pixies, Sonic Youth, Hip hop shit. We're talking about the shit that sucked then that is uber trendy now.
