this shit it surprisingly good, espcially the last 8 tracks. great production from montay - where'd he come from?? anyone else have/heard it? although it does suffer from a nasty case of lame artwork disease (koch)...

If the rest of the LP sounds anything like "2 Step" I'm not interested.

it doesn't, though i don't think that song is bad, its a pretty poor choice as a follow up to walk it out. if you've just heard those two songs, you may think the whole album is about ambulation.

    ayy
    hold on ho
"don't hide that pussy, divide that pussy"

are some of the best songs

I will gladly check this album out, but looking at the song titles I couldn't help but notice how incredibly generic it seems:

    1. Intro - (with DJ Jelly)
    2. Beat'n Down Yo Block
    3. WAlk It Out
    4. Comin' Down Da Street - (with Loko)
    5. Bring It Back
    6. 2 Step
    7. Slow It Up - (with Dem Franchize Boyz)
    8. Don't Make Us
    9. Flatline
    10. Thinking Of You - (with Jazze Pha)
    11. Fresh Dressed - (with Backbone)
    12. Ayyy
    13. This Is How We Do - (with Dru)
    14. Hold On Ho - (with Baby-D)
    15. Smokin' Sticky Sticky
    16. Hit The Dance Floor
    17. Say Yes - (with Dru)
    18. Back It Up
    19. Brand New Day

You could make a chorus out of the song titles quite easily:

"walk it out, slow it up, bring it back, back it up, ayyy
this is how we do, fresh dressed, beat'n down yo' block, ayyy"

I'm surprised they didn't put the walk it out remix on there.

It came out about three months before the remix was recorded.

I like this album a lot.

Since I don't live in ATL anymore, I wasn't really up on Unk until our own rootlesscosmo started a thread with a title along the lines of "UNK: THE BIGGEST DISGRACE IN THE HISTORY OF HUMAN CIVILIZATION".

I knew at that moment that he was an artist I needed to check out immediately.
