for real this album was the soundtrack to my teen years. caught the ill flashback when i heard "pick it up"smoke buddah was seriously the first song i puffed la too, and stayed puffin herb till it till i was in my mid 20s.

    When this album dropped I wasnt really checkin for Redman anymore. My boy was tellin me not to sleep on it. I finally copped it months later and was floored.
    And it's the one Redman album that I constantly return to.

    That stick-up skit where he tells the fake Tyrese to stop singing on the bus is my shit.

    Love this album. "Iz He 4 Real" and "Rock the Spot" are a great 1-2 punch out of the gate, and there's a grip of other hot cuts on there. Red and K-Solo trading bars over a "Cold Getting Dumb" chop? Yes, plaese!

    Pick It Up, Whateva Man, Smoke Buddha, those are my favorites, the whole album is dope though. I'm still bumpin' his new one too, and I'm amazed at how good it actually is. Very well rounded album for 2007.
