Hi,Haven't done one of these in a loooooooong ass time. I've been coming up on some nice stuff lately. Here are 5 tunes that are making me love rapK-Rino "Step Into The Mind"I don't know how Rap-A-Lot picked up Gangsta NIP & passed on this dude. Jeeesus...this dude can rhyme. I've picked up Rino's entire catalog over the last few months & started listening to some of his crew's (The SPC) ish. I think my favorite cd is "Stories From The Black Book", which I'm guessing is one of his first releases. "Step Into The Mind" is a song I find myself revisiting fairly often; here it is for your listening pleasure:http://rapidshare.com/files/30616509/02_Step_into_the_Mind.mp3.htmlCrime Mob "Represent"I really like the last Crime Mob lp. Don't know how it was recieved by critics, but it was hella dope to me. The record had me from the 1st track, "Represent", which is my new "Burn Rubber". Enjoy with my compliments:http://rapidshare.com/files/30617554/01-crime_mob-represent__prod._by_lil_jay_.mp3.htmlPete Rock & CL "Searching" (Remix)From the Japanese promo. I've always wondered about the authenticity of this 12". I haven't listened to any Pete Rock in a while. It was nice to re-discover this track. I've been playing this & the vocal remix to "Straighten It Out". Its good to leave the classics on the shelf for a while. Makes you really appriciate them when you go back to them later. Anyhow, here's the "Searching" remix at 320:http://rapidshare.com/files/30619196/01_Searching__Remix_.mp3.htmlSean Price "One"I could have pretty much picked any track offa this album. Sean Price is my lp of the year. Dude has flow, beats & a decent sense of humor. I hope that he's not still the brokest rapper I know, cause this dude has talent. Cop if you haven't. And don't sleep on Monkey Bars, either:http://rapidshare.com/files/30619728/11-sean_price-one-41st.mp3.htmlPosse Deep "Side F/X"This is one of my secret squirrel tracks, but I figured I'd share a clip of it with the board. Posse Deep has a video on Yahoo Music called "Candy". I don't know if they had an lp, but the rapper kills it over the same beat Percee P used for "Lung Collapsing Lyrics". I've played this track for various strutters & friends who say this dude kicks it over the beat better than Percee...I'm inclined to agree. If you dl any of these tracks, do yourself a favor & peep this out. Dudes who want an mp3 of the song at 320 can holla:http://rapidshare.com/files/30620216/pds.mp3.htmlPost your top 5, even if you don't gots mp3's! What you listening to?peacehova
