I watched this host thing a month ago or so and to be honest... It was almost as crappy as the new fantastic four joint to me. I liked the intro with the doctor and everything slowly brewing up. But the story and the entire chasing thing

Saying the Host sucks AND putting Mr. Horse in your critique??? I'm a fan. Side with the haters here - the Host was really, really stupid. The ironic humor wasn't very funny, at all, and the million and one messages they tried to get across were pretty irritating. And it felt like it went on forever.
On the other hand - I've had Old Boy sitting on my shelf for months now and haven't watched it. Heard nothing but good things though.
I mean what did you expect? I liked it, even though it wasn't quite as good as I hoped it still was entertaining. The dynamic of the family became more interesting than the monster for me.
