    I haven't even heard of most of the people on your list, but I'd love to see more female DJs/producers/diggers etc. who have talent, not just boobs.

    Female producers exist, we are just too underground..keeding.

    I think it's great to have an appreciation thread for women who produce. I ,for one, am so tired of women being overlooked as great producers, dj's, musicians, etc because doods wanna talk about her breast, etc. I am sure it is flattery, but it gets really old.

    I have a lot friends who are women who produce, and I can say that it is awesome to know these girls. Even I am still working on production.

    She is a beautiful producer and jazz singer! She is part of Matthew Herberts production.

    Her voice is so incredible. If I had the $$, i would beg her to sing on one of my tracks. But I guess I have to sing for myself.

    Someone already mentioned Princess Superstar, and if no one believes it, check out her C.E.O.[/b] album. Her stuff is more synth-based now, but back then she was very much about the ol' crackly. That caught the ear of Prince Paul. That, and used panties (I kid, C******a, I kid).

    This is a good topic and I was talking about this with friends the other day, why don't we have a female equivalent of a Pete Rock or DJ Premier?.

    The girls put it down to their attention spans (lol) and the guys said it was because that it was such a Male dominated sport that the girls feel intimidated and unable to compete.
