I feel so much safer now. After I went to bed last night (thinking of that picture, no less), I heard a light "pop/bang" from my bedside table and half joked to myself that there was a serial killer standing there smiling. Casually, I turned and flipped the lamp switch. I really expected it to be nothing, just the lamp cooling down or a pipe in the wall. Instead, there was this giant centepede-like thing with hundreds of almost hairlike legs that had fallen into my bedside-lamp and was chilling facing me. So I definitely wigged out for a sec after all.
does anyone remember in the mid 90s an urban legend spreading about a Misfits inspired serial killer? The story went that the murders followed Misfits song titles and such, and at the scene of the crime stuff like "We are 138" would be scrawled backwards in a mirror and shit like that. An old girlfriend of mine was trying to tell me this was true. Uh huh...sure.

Right, the thing is no silverfish. Anyone know what it might be? It seemed quick and agile. It had big thick 80s glasses and pumas, and no fear of man. Seriously though, it was maybe 4 inches long and with those hairlike legs, maybe an inch wide.
I have them in my home as well, but rarely see them. The largest I ever seen was at least 6 inches long! Freaky ass fuckers they are!
