    Dilated Peoples-Work The Angles 12"

An obvious one but I think it still holds up.

feels strange to talk about that 12 as "still" holding up.. time flies

fucking cant believe that its been 9 years!!!
I hear you. Damn, I feel old.

after hearing this and the other 12's i was soooo disapointed by the album. according to diamond the label put it out without thier consent.

IMO much better than blackstar and the LP still sounds great nowadays.

Well, it was on Rawkus (indy label), so I'd say yes.
And it was way better than the Blackstar album.

to bad he forgot everything he knew after that album.(except for trying to rhyme on classic beats.)

If there were no instrumental on "Tried By 12," I'd never have bought it. Their rhymes really did not do that beat justice.

Whatever happened to these dudes? I always liked L Swift.

I'm listening to that Sean Price posse cut, Strategy, in honor of this thread. Mike Zoot!

fantastic vol 1. was underground as fuck. that's an album i still listen to from time to time, as well as the juggaknots (one of my fav albums of all time), all the good fondle em twelves (someone jacked my cage!), the beyond real experience, finsta bundy- feel the high part 2, j- live, 3rd eye vision was hieros last good record though i haven't pulled that one out in years.

and no one's mentioned da grassroots album on supreme's label... timeless.

never got into that lootpack album, i've tried. arsonists album was a major dissapointment. blackstar was weaksauce.
