Thanks again, D.

Not sure if this is a Chicago record, actually. Little help?

Winners
Had a few others....but these were the most enjoyable
Dude, get the second one!
14 originals, mostly in the vein of "The People In Me" from
that album, and no crappy covers of Beatles songs!
okay, i'm lying, 5 from ebay, 5 from record stores but I'm so damn happy my system is fixed.....what a fuckin' relief. I feel like i'm breathing again. I'm actually listening to Pete Jolly-Seasons right now.....
ive never seen either one before yesterday, but yeah, im on the lookout now. Its funny, i actually enjoyed the crappy covers, i think its the tone/production i like, it just sounds different than the average 60s rock/garage sound, sorta raw but complex. "real" sounding.
im wondering what that dog does if it needs to take a piss?
Is that the record that B**** has had in his KUSF boxes for the last year-plus? Or a different title by the same group?
The Winners album, is that the one on Roadshow? How is it?
SONIC
that jade record.....
i love sam dees!
what's up with sundial stock cover, timeless soul jazz LP?
After about two months of no,no records - BAM! When it rains it pours as they say.
SONIC
School band joint outta Toledo with "People Make The World Go Round" and "The World Is A Ghetto".
SONIC
My eyes always perk up finding a plain white sleeve and a homemader label. Anybody ever heard of dude? I think he
plays accordian but props to him on putting together a pretty wicked group. Have a listen to this dope drum heavy
slice of Midnight Cowboy and BS&T coverage and somebody let me know what you think. Link
Also picked up this custom label '67 garage comp out of NJ. A lot of great stuff here, but this track really clicked with
me as a really charming amateur attempt at early group soul. Group is called the Soul Survivors (no not them). Link
Another even more local (for me) garage comp this time from '68 Williamsport, PA. Some good stuff here, but the
version of "Fire" by the Heavenly Scent works for me in a big way. Link
And finally one sweet soul 45 and one mystery NJ funk 45.
Mount, Marvos and The Lost Generation are dupes. Shouts to GamleOle and Pac for hooking me up with a couple of these. Luckiest punch was the The Purple Image Lp, which I found in a store for 60 kr. (~10$).
