Kind of a weird mix of stuff. I've got doubles of that Dartanyan, however, I am holding it for someone right now who may want it. But, PM me if interested.

    THEMBI! Finally!

    All from local stores:

That Curtis has become a tough pull, so I was happy.
The less said about King Errison, the better. Nice braeks, tho.
Was amazed to find clean Ken Boothe in a Boston store -
psyched to get "Is It Because I'm Black" but "Down By the River" is especially

That Compost blows the first one away, a big factor being
Lou Courtney doing some vocals, and more rockist tracks.
Gorgeous first press of Dizzy live sessions with Lalo.
Groove Holmes also minty, nice session with a hot band behind him.
Mr. Rouse has very clean vinyl, despite the look of that cover.

White Duck was pretty good, rock in a few styles, very well produced.
Rita Lee a mixed bag, but "Mania de Voce" is a very very nice tune.
Don't really ever see that Jorge Ben LP mentioned, but it is a
fantastic album, and I just keep playing it.
Judy Mayhan is a folk/pop record recorded at Muscle Shoals,
with Duane Allman on guitar and nice Rhodes throughout, a
few very nice spaced-out tunes, unbelievable production.

Screaming Jay Hawkins late 70's budget LP of sessions recorded 19??
which include a 2-parter that has some crazed loud distortion guitar
    and crashing drums...worth the $2
Grusin sealed deep groove OG for very nice price.
Good luck continued, as Tin House turned up at Tw*sted Villa*e,
not a store to typically put out clean OG copies of $60 acid rock
LP's for $5.99, but there it was...
and SHOW of TOMORROW has been one of my most wanted JB titles
for years and years ... and a shrinkwrapped OG shows up in a
local bin just like that. Patience.

  • From the last 4-5 days. Most of the LP's walked into the shop. The 12"s were from a buy/excavation in Manassas, VA yesterday (warning: we dumped alot of our rejects at the Manassas Salvation Army).
Most of the 12's had the original shrink wrap, price stickers and were unplayed. Got a few hundred for the shop. Only listing the ones I took home.

    LP's-
    Embryo - Surfin' (BASF)
Benny Golson - I'm Always Dancin' to the Music (Columbia test pressing)
Central State University Department of Music - No Exit (private press) from 1985, but still funky
The Beach Boys - Rarities (Capitol)
John Coltrane - Blue Trane (Blue Note - 70's Japanese press)
Curtis Mayfield - There's No Place Like America Today (Curtom promo)
Jon Lucien - Rashida (RCA promo)
OST - Cornbread, Earl and Me (Fantasy promo)
Jefferson Airplane - Early Flight (Grunt promo)
    Juana Molina - Son (Domino)
V/A - Basement Flavor (First Priority)

    12"s-

Pleasure - Rare Tracks (Listen Up) great DC gogo from 2000 that I hardly ever see
    EPMD - Crossover (Def Jam)
Grace Jones - Pull Up to the Bumper (Island)
Backlash - Hang With the Gang (Strata Sphere) great one here!
    Gangster D - I Got a Good Thang (3rd Eye) late 80's DC hip-hop, JB based
