listning to these, this is the first richard havens joint ive come across that i actually like!!

  • "Indian Ropeman" is on that Havens LP, right? Cool tune - the Auger/Driscoll version is even more killerer.

How's the Zalatnay? Haven't seen that one before.

yes its on here, this is a 2LP, its on side 2, id say that side 1- 2 the first record is better than the second sides 3- 4

no i havent either, and yes it does look dope enough, from 1975 i was hoping for something real good, unfortunately the only track i really like on this lp is a cover version of heard it through the grapevine which is nice!!

P.S - To the people that have private messaged me asking if I am someone named Kevin in Canada i assure you that i am in no way affiliated with this person at all. My name is not Kevin and I live nowhere near Canada.

I am sorry to hear that some of you have been taken advantage of by this guy and I hope that things get sorted soon but i seriously have nothing to do with this and would also very much appreciate not being dragged into it.

After reading a few threads regarding the matter I also noticed that a few people have stated that they believe my weekly finds are fake? i am not sure what this means but i assure you that all of the records i have posted about are mine and were bought either thru various private dealers that i have had longlasting relationships with or they are truly legitimate finds out in the field.

Ebay finds are not posted although one ebay purchase may have been posted about but no more than one. Gaylads - Joy in the Morning (Wirl). I hope this clears things up a bit.

    Cheers !

So your name is '___________' and you live somewhere near '___________'

I hope this clears things up a bit

.....that would be a start, for the scores of people that have been burned by soufriere1. Process of elimination, I guess. Luckily, I never dealt with the fellow.

Thats UK/CA slang if I ever heard it.

  • I'm afraid that, to put the conspiracy theorists to rest, you'll have to post more pics of yourself actually holding up those 45s next to your face.

The Jerry Moore has three great cuts....two are 5+ minutes long.

What is that Action '69 all about???

  • 2lp US army band. haven't got through the whole thing yet, but sweet soul version of 'danny boy' is actually really good.
    just googled this:
"Action 69 (2 copies): fabulous army touring band doing really bad things with good (and bad) songs. If you see it get it! (orange gatefold)."

ain't it though? I was actually pleasantly surprised by cobham's drumming on this one, the whole session sounds pretty "free".
