I am feelin' this one. Man, those drums are killers...
Raer or no, hollar if you come across another copy. Straight
Raer for sure... I wish I had a little bit more than one copy too!
Its a monster. Made my day.
I might make your tomorrow too... I'll post new sounds tonight and wish for other top contributions on this thread!!! Recording and scanning takes some time but we all have to learn from each other. I love this Resurgence 45 too...
Aiight, the "Not A Good Look" graemlin wasn't very polite. But please, you wasn't very polite either when you replied to one of my first posts here on soulstrut..
Anyway, here is a nice little disco-rap 45. Dope as hell IMO.
The Untouchables are from Richmond VA. They recorded on this studio label that put out various other bands of many genres. Check their method, it's a real oddball.

The other side is pretty cool too, in a more jazz ambient way. I like records like this - little known, obscure & mysterious, great labels, and it helps when there's something interesting on both sides. Which is why I really like the Liquid Paper 45 - the intro's great.
i've posted it in the past, but since its from my state and all (recorded about 30 miles from my parents house, actually) here it is again, representing 1968 Iowa...
Thanks Ako, thanks to everyone posting here. I'm feeling this thread! Some top contributions! I've got apetite for knowledge and I'll do my best to stimulate any potential poster here...
This 45 was an additional record you had "free" in the late 70's by buying an interestless double LP by The Gramacks (from the french West Indies)... I love it!
Don't have time to scan and post the record but I'll try to later. This is a cool little song, nothing major but it's decent. It's on the label Creative Funk and I think it was also featured on a Hoctor record somewhere but I'm not for sure.
Leon recorded a few singles for his One Shot label, one single for the Equator Label, and one 1968 release on Baltimore's Rujac label. He owned and operated a used car dealership in DC until he passed away some years ago. The Little Royal connection makes perfect sense as he was always in the area.

Nice 45 with great lyrics, B-Side has a raw instrumental version of the title track. I have no further information of this group, sorry.

very nice track.
If you hadn't come off as so hyperly offensive yourself, I wouldn't have said anything (the last couple times). There's a polite way to say things.

Same label & BMI as Arthur Monday. Apple on drums from Apple & Three Oranges fame.
Ban? why? It's a free world and it's ok to argue a little. This is between me and soufriere1, not you.

Great record. Here's the same band in an earlier incarnation: Axis
Here's one, a kind of garage funk: Ali's Electric Trance
JOE
this is much more easily affordable and also very recommandable
Le temps des tams tams
Thanks. I'm a sucker for covers, especially KATG one's. I need to step my 45 game up for real (cue high-c jokes).
I think we have a winner.
I knew the minute I saw you were posting that it would be good.
as usual
I have something else on this label that I'm drawing a blank on. I think it's time to see what I can bring to the table.
lets see what i have to offer here....
I'm partial to Peut-Etre Demain... also affordable and recommendable.
