Kind of scored tonight, a bunch of newly arrived and dirt cheap
45's at my reg spot - conditions vary (the Larry Sanders is an ill
45 but the copy is pretty busted)

Dude, don't even worry about the Larry Sanders 45... I got three copies that looked unplayed years ago and they all sounded like absolute shit. Worst 45 pressing EVAR?

Finally got a copy of RTB Big Band, yugo-stuff for anyone who likes string beat: this thing will kick it's ass!! Highly recommended, and better yet, at a reasonable price too.

looks cool, is there a remote mp3 possibility ?

Here you go, had to break it up into two downloads (it's a double lp, plus my compression skills are nihil).

    enjoy
    part 1
    part 2

and Travis Wammack on Fame has some
ill shit going on - crazed fuzztone cover of Funk #49!

Great finds man. Any chance of you puttin that Funk #49 cover up somewheres?

    Travis Wammack - Funk #49 - Fame 1972 - MP3

Fuzz solo doesn't come in until 1/2 way through, but
it's a pretty heavy & spirited take throughout.

    Just some low-level boogie 12"s

Kashif - Baby Don't Break Your Baby's Heart (Arista 1984)
Simplicious - Let Her Feel It (Philly World Records 1984)
Richard Jon Smith - Stay With Me Tonight (Jive 1982)

    For $1.50 each, I won't complain.

^I slept and finally copped! Racked my brain about the track "Woman's Gotta Have It"...oh yah, it was sampled by Three Six for one of my favorite Project Pat songs, (You Know The Biss(feat. DJ Paul), from the Faux_Rillz approved "Ghetty Green album).

^^^facemelt drum programming and nice scratches, slept on!?

    ^Nice, non raer

^ Confusion Beats, jeaaah...classic new order electro dance cut

    ^ Hip House?

^ Got the promo LP version of this. Nice classic gangsta album.

Also got a South Click - Hard Time Gangsta 12", great laid back gagnsta rap from Huntsville, AL!

Sale/Trade pieces (stuff I got but I am personally not feeling enough to keep):[/b]

    ^ Nice Soul 12"

^^FOR SALE/TRADE, nice Patrick Adams Jocelyn Brown chunes. This should go to someone who will appreciate the modern/boogie more than I will.

    ^^FOR SALE/TRADE, nice private disco 12"

^^^promo white label, hah. Also for sale/trade.

HATTER! How can you hate on the programming and production on this? Yeah the lyrics aren't superb but, bah fuk it. Do a rundown for your favorite mantronix-like drumapellathons, seroius foll. I don't know enough about that nicherap genre yet, yamsayin?

  • noznoz 3,625 Posts
as far as programing goes, that record is not even on the level below the level that isn't on mantronix's level.

YOU DON'T SPEAK DIPSET? COME ON NOW. "not on the level of that other level" was a direct reference to that dipset in london video, no?

it's late, your wires are crossed. willie and the bumblebees is better than most of those disco and rap 12"s I posted though
