found a Nathan Davis 'IF'- FINALLY![/b] this was my #1 want, feels great to cross it off the list. cheap copy too. i'd say my collection is finally starting to shape up in this department :
aahhhhh! me too! i got that nice price sealed og out ain the park 4 blocks from my house! i had never even seen a copy before. stayed sealed for about 18 seconds when i got home.

yeah man, 2 IF's in the finds thread. you kinda stole my thunder but that's
the only other of his LPs remotely similar is the Suite for MLK (which was his next release)- it has 2 out and out funk jams, but they're different because they have synth solos (which arent really my flavor). The LP also has a lot of narration and non-funk rhythms pertaining to MLK. good record overall, but nothing's touching IF (if you're into straight-ahead the 60s Saba joints are unfadeable, but its like apples + oranges)
