Faded Lady killed them in Atlanta last night. Even Primo was like whoa.
Yeah man - that song is butter.
(Jake: I think Paul Nice is trying to cop that same instrumental. Sounds like fire).
Somebody needs to post that shit! One of the collectros on here has gotta have it.
check out the Soul Sides blog by O-Dub, there is an entry where he discussed the new Busta track and Diamond D's "I went for mine". both tracks are available for download plus the vocal version of Faded Lady.
That's why I said "as MCs"... I don't think they've made a good record yet. But they have sounded real good on some other folks' cuts, and a couple of their mixtape joints from last summer were straight fire.
How do yall explain that 2nd Young Gunnaz record if they're so good??
Good rappers frequently make bad albums?
It was just sad cuz they were so proud that they were finally getting to do a record 'their' way and that the world would know and appreciate them for real this time..... and then
I've never even heard the CD I just wasn't crazy about the cuts I did hear
the joint with ODB is the hottest busta joint ive heard though
that single was such a weird choice... it came outta nowhere, and dissappeared just as quickly... i actually did hear it getting cut up on a mixshow once though

Young gunnaz first record had some heaters on there.
This busta shit is cool, but it aint bringing NY back or nothin.
ok ok...this is that fire, busta is reppin...but why is dj scratch "sick for this one" ? imagine $10,000 or so for looping this up !? think diamonds salty ?

sounding like clones if you ask me....wonder who they sound like? my 2 cents, as i have not posted for some time now...

jonny...vinyl related-you got some newness ?
I'll send you some shit that I like of theirs to check out!
Neef is whatever, but Young Chris is . Hearing Young Chris on the track with Beans is just something else. Definitely have to go to the mixtapes to hear their best work.

Word, I think cats need to be remaking old Original Flavor beats.
I WANT TO HEAR A "CAN I GET OPEN" REMAKE- JAY-Z FEATURING MEMPHIS BLEEK, NEEF, PAPOOSE, GHOSTFACE, JEEZY AND SAIGON. AND OF COURSE BUSTA.
I'm just saying, if you're going to go throwback, might as well make this an adult's table thing.
But just to super-obscure it, go with the "Here We Go" beat instead of "Can I Get Open".
You invited Young Jeezy though.
I think Neef (and Chris) are both pretty underrated as MCs.
I like them dudes, too.
O and Sparks, on the other hand...

I think the vocal version is available on one of the Dusty Fingers volumes.
I'm kind of regretting getting rid of that *S* record.

I don't think anyone is remotely suggesting that. I mean, I don't see "NY Shit" going over in an ATL club, you know?

On Paul Nice Soul on the Grill he rocks very nice doubles of this track. Most of you probably have this but I thought I'd put it out there.
