I usually wear a suit or slacks and a sportscoat on teaching days. I'm a prof in a business school, which has rather dressy clothing norms. Plus, I like to project a professional image to my students. On non-teaching days (like today), I'm jeans and sweatshirt (or rugby) down.
But I thought you worked at Jollibee? Don't you wear the Jollibee costume at work?

Completely off topic, but one of my relatives had a birthday party at Jollibee's when we were little & someone tried to feed the bee a french fry. Unfortunately the mouth on the costume's head lined up with the person's nose so the french fry ended up in the wrong hole. Maybe that's why the bee in this picture has a closed mouth.
I wish we would go back to the days when all the men wore a suit -- starting with like junior high kids. I dont mean a double breasted 1000 dollar power suit or anything, just a regular cheap suit and tie like they did in the twenties and whatnot. I think people would treat eachother with more respect and decency. And it would erase this whole "the clothes make the man" and "what you wear makes a statement." Im tired of making a statement with my clothes, or wearing certain clothes so people can indentify me. Idle thoughts.

thats my philosophy as well -- but even dressing down in non-indentifiable clothes makes a statement of some sort and people judge you by that. I guess I just want to live in a utopia.
i think we should go back to the days when everyone in the service industry had to wear a special uniform. Prefereably with dumb little hats for men, and miniskirts for the ladies.

i have seen these making a tiny comeback, but for the most part, double breasted suits went out in the mid 1980s, right along with tie clips.

if I had to wear a tie to work, Id wear one of those every day. The thing about ties is that they choke my neck, and so Im always loosening it and I look like Rodney Dangerfield...RIP.

I wear shirt & tie every day to work. I always rock a tie clip too, The whole shirt & tie thing seemed weird at first, but after 5 years it's just the norm now. I'll even be rocking the suit on Sunday night at Chapel.
I wanna know how Fauxy does it up in the workplace.
I usually wear nice jeans, heels and a sweater, I don't really have a dresscode per se, but it helps to be taller than the kids and it makes me feel more "adult". Friday is college sweatshirt and Air Forces day though.

Over in the world to television production they don't give a fuck what you wear.
I'm rocking a $2 shirt, some $10 jeans and some $25 reeboks, and I still look better than most of y'all.
I'm also wearing bloodshot eyes and a silly ass grin and a case of the munchies right now.
Today my job has me going to the OC to meet up with Antonio Sabato Jr., a porn star, and Hobie from Baywatch.
