Today was one of those bestest days you wish you had all the time. I haven't come up like this in a long while. Flea was off the chain, dude brought in a new collection filled with heaters. I tend not to look at what other people are pulling because I get digger's envy real bad, but I heard a dude let go a muffled "ohhh" and saw him pull a mint Dee Feliece Trio "In Heat" along with his stack of OG Blue Notes. Makes me wonder what other people pulled. Anyways I didn't mind all that much because I did pretty good myself, lots of wants scratched off.
About four weeks ago I had a dude pull that Harvey Averne and Joe Bataan from the crate next to me, glad they popped up again some redemption. Eugene McDaniel's "Outlaw," Michael Wycoff "Love Conquers All," and Ralfi Pagan "With Love" are up for trade (all VG+/VG+ or better), looking for latin heat or sister funk. I might be willing to part with some of the other stuff, entice me.
some new ones for the new week: I was so happy to find this sealed og island press after getting outbid last second for a opened copy on ebay. This has been hapening alot lately.
this comp has some great highlife artists like the comets, the stargazers of kumasi, and the black beats.
and JP from Good Records came correct as always with some niceness. Thanks man.
Last week it was all about the Funk for me, this week came some long over due Hip Hop finds...man its been awhile. Im stoked because some of this stuff is totally new to me and it all sounds dope so far. Nothing valuable in a monetary sense really but I like everything I got...and their record player was broken so I went for looks on the ones I didnt know. All 12''s... Everything was $1-2 bucks!

Really an exceptional last few days. Been rolling around with Aleit and hit a local dealer here in NYC, took a road trip, and in the meantime several packages showed up including a monster load of Brazilian.
That Kellee Patterson record is so damn good - I hope you'll keep it for yourself, although it's price has gone so high lately I'm sure you'll be tempted to flip it.
Are you planning on doing some eBay again soon? I'd love a shot at a few of those albums...
