    Are there any magazines out that are similar to Scratch (producer interviews, equipment reviews, etc) but... better? Maybe more skewed to sampling then keyboard/mainstream beats.

    wax poetics has some good articles from time to time (editor used to work for scratch). otherwise, there really isn't anything like it to date...unless you talk about the random producer interviews in remix.
