Privy to the secrets that "divide man from the animals," Professor Jonathan Chase (Simon MacCorkindale) metamorphosed into a variety of animal species on each episode of the police drama/fantasy MANIMAL/NBC/1983. His powers apparently came from his father, "sole heir to the secret link that binds man and animal." Working as a consultant for a special investigative unit of the New York Police Department, Professor Chase frequently transformed into a snarling black panther (actually a black leopard).

dang. manimal. now that was a raerity. riptide i think had a longer life cuz it was after like ateam or something like that cuz i remember the intro marina rock shit and them taking off on a yacht.
what about the masters? dude i was so geeked on that shit cuz it was about ninjas. sadly, the show sucked ballnuts. which was weird cuz lee van cleef starred in it and sho kosugi the master ninja was like his arch rival.
with phinneas boggs the dude that was all hot and sexy and put a prop gun to his head and shot his brains out. that sucked. i liked that show voyagers.
