Museum visitor trips, breaks Chinese vase CAMBRIDGE, England (AP) -- A museum visitor shattered three Qing dynasty Chinese vases when he tripped on his shoelace, stumbled down a stairway and brought the vases crashing to the floor, officials said Monday.

  • But the article said the vases were from the 17th or 18th century -- that's kinda old. I bet they could get some new ones from Ikea for cheap.

    I was with a friend at the Getty once. We were looking at a table from Italy 15th century. I asked my friend how much he thought it weighed. SO HE PICKED IT UP! Security dudes came out of nowhere and wondering "wtf". All my friend could say is, "Sorry I forgot."


    I don't take him to museums anymore.
