good idea. It'll take me sometime if I got to put it in order. I also lost my infamous 1-2,000 discuss list. So I can't even reference

    offhand I can name these:
    Temptaions[/b] "Solid Rock" (Tamla)
Gavin Bryars[/b] "The Sinking of the Titanic" (Obscure)
Mirah[/b] "you Think its like this but its Really Like That" (K)
    Sahib Shihab[/b] "Summers Dawn" (Savoy)

I'll have to run through the vinyl I have and see what else deserves to be in the top 10

because I am asking what your top 10 LP's are. if you don't have the LP it can't be part of your top 10 LP's

no, I'm figuring the really raer items probably arent in these peoples top 10's (well maybe in the_Macks).

Crink[/b] - I kinda assumed yours would be like that. thought there might be some post punk in it however.

To me this is like trying to find out what the inside of somebodies head sounds like

It's tough - I can already think of like 5 more that really should be in the top 10

Taking bets on how many times Illmatic gets mentioned. I'll say at least 7.

  • Mirah[/b] "you Think its like this but its Really Like That" (K)

I never saw anyone mention Mirah on the board before. I'm a fan too (although she wouldn't come anywhere near my top ten list).

mirah's sister is better (and hotter)

emily. she doesnt get orchestral production from phil elvrum like mirah, but i think her songs are stronger when both of them play back to back on accoustic guitars in a park
