too many raers on here. come on, metro-tones top 10 of all time?!?!?!?!
I hate to say it but I agree.
That destination unlimited is a two tracker atbest, would you really say it is one of the top ten LP's you've ever heard/ owned?
I thought this was personal favorites. I like what I like...
What's the criteria?
well youre right and wrong. Its personal favorites, but its your 10 personal favorite LP's that you own. I'm thinking maybe I shoudl of asked people to explain what it is about those albums they like (everyone feel free to do so)
I'm just raising the question. If you really like Destination Unlimited that much who am I to disagree?

Yeah...I realized that at the end...
I guess I would add Beatles and Zappa on there if I had to but let's be serious...it's still be black music just being played by white people, no?
If it was Top 10 LPs i own and is/was played heavily:
Nite Liters- Analysis (absolute joy when i first heard it and got repeated listens) Oneness of Juju- African Rhythms (IMHO close to perfect blend of percussion, funky rhythms, and composition.) Al Green- I'm still in love with you (sublime) Lonnie Liston Smith- Expansions (one of the best in its genre; whatever the hell it is.) Beatles- Sgt. Pepper (still amazing) The Clash- London Calling/self-titled (i first thought LC was bland compared to their debut, but i was wrong. classic) Burning Spear- Garvey's Ghost (the first dub record i found and loved it) Poets of Rhythm- Discern and Define (love it and gets better with every listen) Cal Tjader- Tjader (chill)
