Stuff on the left courtesy of Doc Beezy's set sale, which I scored only through lucky timing and a quick trigger finger. Dude hooks it up and gets Fastest Shipping on Soul Strut 2006, coast-to-coast in 3 days. Mystic Astrologic Crystal Band has some crazy shit going on.
Shit on the right I copped today "in the field." No bargains, but some dope 60's shit, clean copies. Been wanting that Action comp for years. "The Cissy" is dancefloor rawness, UK style. The last 90 seconds of the Southwest F.O.B. LP is so off the hook - if the whole LP sounded like that, it would be the most shining of grails, real heads know the - unh - and all that.
Got some good shit...but particularly curious about this.
I was able to find it on Blaxploitation.com - but does anyone know anything to the rarity/value of this thing? Can't imagine it being too high up on want lists - but you never know.
Well I went digging got some cheap records nothing too raer. It was worth the trip... Scores...

'bout it lately. Haven't been hitting the shops as much these days. Whats the minimum # of vinyls one has to buy to still be considered a real strutter. I mean, not that I ever was or anything, but...

haha! thanks! Indeed I do!
but, My USA & white noise records are jealous now.
only 2 come ups yesterday. Live at Slugs (Charles Tolliver and the crew) on strata-east, and Eddie Kendricks "All By Myself" Tamla/Motown. Hot record. Dope drum fill on this one. First track is a banger as well. The whole Strata-east LP is nice too. Need to dig again today. NEED to.

One on the left is early 70s jazz funk from Italy.
The one on the right is an Aregentinian record from 1980.

the movie is pretty hilarious as well. the copy i watched was in italian with german subtitles, and it was still a good time.
yeah, they used "mah na mah na".
Henson & co. used "Mah-na-mah-na" for a sketch in an episode of The Muppet Show.
oh shit, that's right. it was the muppets.
They used in that Dr. Pepper add recently too, I think.
How d'ya like that version of "Mustang Sally?"
Overall a pretty smooth LP, tho...
I haven't listened to the whole thing yet. I already have a couple of their 45s (and like them).
