she works in a photolab, and every once in a while, will make a huge blown up print of something cool... whatever. last weekend, we were trift store shopping and i found half of a copy of huckleberry finn in a free pile, so i just ripped off the cover and left the book (don't worry, it's one of my favorites, and i have read it). i was gonna use it in a collage, but she brought home a 30" poster of it yesterday. not only that, she sent me an email today, saying "here's a new soulstrut avatar for you..." just wanted to share.

    as far as the blues doc he did, that fucking sucked... but the baseball, mark twain, and frank lloyd wright films he did were dope. someone plaese to point me in the direction of a more informative 18hr+ baseball documentary...

    ps. i had a friend who cut negatives for him and said he was a total asshole.

    I thought somebody else did the Blues documentaries (Martin Scorcese?), which sucked. His Jazz one was pretty informative on early stuff, but just completely dismissive of everything slightly avant garde/free/funky. Would've been better if it was called "Jazz Foundations" or something.
