Oh HELL yeah...That's like a great lost Bacharach LP! Swing Out Sister's best set of songs, IMO. Check out the "Somewhere Deep In The Night" album as well; pretty much the same classic orchestral pop vibe as KS, but somewhat darker in tone.
deniece williams toddlin town 45's are amazing, there pretty cheap too, i'd recommend picking them up, i listen to them almost everyday, all 4 are solid, she has a a couple 45's on the lock label too which i haven't heard but am willing to bet are equally good
That's your holy grail? for real? how much you tryna dump on a copy? I can get you a few of these. people make the world go round on freddie hubbard's polar AC is a better version, IMO. and the o'donell levy joint is hot too. anyway if you need copies of sunflower, let me know i see them regularly.
Shit while I'm at it, I better post an underapreciatted joint too. I'm always going on and on about this one, but it remains one of my favorite stony soul albums of all time:
Not the bes pic, but it's Maxayn's self titled joint from 75 if memory serves correctly. nice album. bail out for fun is dope too. I saw another one that I haven't heard but another local digger got to that shit before I could. if anybody knows a guy named Ross from Denver, I'm willing to bet he's the one who has it!
