Because of the stupidly thick Landon accent, I spent most of my adolescence thinking that only blokes called "Dan" were allowed in... oh, the delights the lucky bastards must have had; paying over the odds prices for watered down lager that they'd only spill on the dance floor as they vainly tried to get near the one fit girl in the club who wasn't gurning but was already surrounded by bigger, rougher looking Dans. I knew a bloke called Dan, but he hadn't even kissed a girl, let alone had a sniff of lager or a toke on a spliff.
