Why was Styles P really shelved?

His shit was one of the only cd's I was waiting for to come out. His first single was raw! But i barely heard it anywhere. It could be just lack of hype that killed it, but listening to some of the advance it seems like interscope might not have liked where he was taking things... Which coincidentaly seemed like it was leaning in a very pro black direction. Perhaps its just the overly liberal white guy in me that wants to call that shit out, but it does sort of smell fishy.     also floating out there however is a lil john track that is utterly terrible.

    The fact is Styles is WAY better than jadakiss and his album deserves to be out.

    I think perhaps it was that the single never caught on?

    I saw new posters advertising it as recently as last week, although they didn't have a release date.

    The single is Im black right? Cause I could see that song being huge.

    personally i'd be cool if i never heard another song by either one of 'em. they just don't bring enough to the table for me to wanna cop their music, although i did like them collectively as the lox when they were droppin shit like 'niggas done started somethin' but i mean even mase was somewhat nice during that and the children of the corn era. all of those cats fell off.

    Uh, right... well as a whole... No. They were all really weak. Styles wasn't ever really ground breaking.. and the tracks on this album are pretty generic and boring.
