this is like the uncensored version of "last night a dj saved my life"

seriously, keb is one of the best dudes around, such a funny and genuine character.

  • was that real crying at the end of the first part when he mentions his friend bruce? things were going smooth, calls everyone a c*nt, talks about punks vs. northern soul blokes, then it sounds like he breaks up. this guy is the real deal. thanks for the interview danno.

    My favorite is:

"I did that thing compilation with RZA from the Wu-Tang Clan, who was a complete fucking idiot. Lies to his backteeth about kung-fu. He knows nothing about it"

  • Me ? Swear ? they must have overdubbed it with some actors voice after recording.
Thanks for all the nice words.

Finally had time to sit down and listen to this, and I think it deserves a bump. This interview is hillarious, poignant, and informative.

Only time I ever sold him a record, Harvey & the Phenomenals 45 on Da-Wood, the only copy I'd ever seen and it was his 3rd reserve back-up copy.
My mind was blown in a record nerd kind of way.

Nah, this was an interview from 2005, I think by A Man Called Warwick. Almost ten years ago! Time flies.
