    ha ha I got confused. I thought this thread was Albums and Artists with Ice in the title. I take Albert Collins over Ice Cube because he doesnt try and act and he rips the fucking guitar.

    After I wrote the above I had a sinking feeling that there was a factaul error. Albert Collins was in a wack movie. Adventures in Babysitting and he even did a wack ass song about babysitting blues.



    Collins is tha shit. Never tried acting in wack movies.But Cube helped globalize HIPHOP.

    Its a hard call for me.

    FM - Ice Pirates definitely holds up. I re-watched it about 3 years ago, the last time being the first time I saw it in the theaters in like middle school, and that shit is still hella funny. Remember the pimpbot?

    Ouch!! While it's easy to mock Cube's current black middle class phase, it shows a lot of courage to bust out of being a carricature of the angry ghetto youth that he personified early on. Truthfully, I think he is a more interesting person. Saw him on Charlie Rose and was impressed that he had some thoughtful things to say about how his father raised him, making it in the business and being a creative person. Even musically I gotta say he is more interesting than the Ice Pick. That said Cuba and him gotta lay off the Disney.
