According to Wiki it will be next year. Can't imagine living in a place where the fake rulers bday is a holiday, but I'd take off work for sure!

Utrecht is nog altijd de topper, groningen is zowieso een dope stad. en het ziet er uit of daar ook wat te halen valt

Yo 1000, are these privat collection or dealer finds?

The jazz records were from a dealer, about 5 euros each, the rest is euro bin stuff from random fleamarket dudes.

  • Wasn't home for queensday (which was alright for a change) but spend 7 days on (rainy) Ibiza. No recordstores there but I was really lucky to hit a vinylsale at some local hipster store. Arrived there on time the next day and there wasn't anyone there buying. Loads of crap but there was a guy with 2 crates of crazy prog and psych stuff, probably from the collection of his old hippy parents.
Most of the stuff was in really bad shape and completely worn out but I managed to nail these 5. They look ok but need a little clean. I had no idea about the Dr. Z untill I looked it up when I got back to the apartment. This should pay for our flighttickets I suppose.

Those speakers look wild Guzzo, how do they sound?

    Some brazillian records this week:

The Trajeto is great jazz and the Ternura is the best soul I've heard in a minute or two

They aren't as amazing as I'd hope, but through the help of other struttuers I may get them improved/ updated. They are part of a late 60's Zenith sound system and known as "circle of sound", they were marketed as early household surround sound speakers.

Questionable art direction. Music delivers, though.

There's always so much heat in these threads... a true motivating tool to stay persistent! Keep 'em coming!

Between traveling a bit, hitting the regular spots, my non-RSD Record Store Day haul, and what I pulled at a record show, I've cleaned up fairly well recently. I definitely paid more than I should have for some of these titles, but so far it's been totally worth the education and chance to absorb all these new to me sounds.

About 13 yrs ago a DJ bud of mine was trying to offload his Brazillian heavies as the craze was ebbing. I bought a bunch but he wanted too much for Gal so I passed and have kicked myself ever since. So happy to have this LP finally, Gal's on some :next_level: shit with this one.
