Yesterday a certain person called Ulrich Kaiser has won a krautrock record in an auction from me. (where is the mythtical raer graemlin if you need it?) :oof:

Now I'm wondering if I have found the mystical krautrock mogul, whom the whole world is looking for the last 30 years. I just asked in an e-mail if he is the one. Very excited for the answer at the moment....

Couldn't find anything in english about him, sorry.

    Dope! It's gotta be him.
You should hand deliver the record to his address. Then chill at his pad and listen to Krautrock records together.

nice, i didn't know about him. according to this piece:

it isn't likely he'll answer, even if it is him.

    Same here.

This includes a few geographical pointers. So which city or postcode do you need to send this Kraftwerk record to?

There is of course another possible explanation: your buyer is not using his real name but a funny pseudonym for his krautrock related ebay purchases. As long as the address is correct the name on the package doesn't really matter, does it?

Good point man. If ebay user "David_Axelrod" bought an Electric Prunes record off me, I wouldn't necessarily start thinking it's the genuine article.

After reading in which circumstances Kaiser probably lives today, I hardly believe he's buying Krautrock records on the internet. Also Ulrich Kaiser is a rather common name. But still, if there's a slight chance it could be him I hope for you he's answering.

It goes to a a city in the soiuthern part of Germany, in which is the federal constitutional court is located as well. This should be hint enough to know what city I'm talking about. I don't want to name the city explicitly, for some reason.

It was not his ebay moniker, but his real name.
I don't think that a package will arrive if the name doesn't match the address, but I could be wrong...

I alredy received th payment via paypal under the same name. Unfortunatly/of course he didn't answer my question (yet?).

It's easy. You just have to put a sticker with the additional name to your mailbox. Many years ago we had the name of a non-existing radiostation on our mailbox to receive promotional vinyl and it worked quiet well.

I have sold records to all kinds of famous people. Known names and behind the scene people.
    All have been very generous.
    Their purchases often surprise.

KA does not seem close to the other pointers, which indicated Sauerland etc.

According to some web stories he would not have used the name Rolf-Ulrich Kaiser publicly but would have called himself "Meson Cristallis" - or would have used Gille Lettmann's PF address. It's all very intriguing. Let us know if you hear more....

Last month I sold an original of the sheet music for "One Bad Apple" on the bay to some dude called osbro#1.

Was it Alan, Merrill, Wayne or Donny?
No, some random dude with an Osmonds fixation.

Not that that's a bad thing.
