From two Sundays ago...on my way to Houston for business, I stop for lunch at a Whataburger in Winnie, TX and notice a flea market going on across the street. Sure enough, amongst the metal chickens and custom university colors cornhole sets someone has piles of 45s. Nothing in mint condition here but all solid playable copies, and for 50 cents a pop I certainly can't complain about this group. First time finding Syl Johnson or Sugar Pie DeSanto in the field!
also stopped by the obnoxious record shop close to the junk place, I think they maybe do a triage where the good things go to them while the crap stays with the junk guys. Not sure though. Still, picked these up for not much money:
Finally got to visit the Record Exchange after being m.i.a. for a couple of months. He bought 10,000 45s of unplayed store stock in my absence. I didn't have a lot of time but I did manage to pull these. He had them marked at 2.95, but I bought 20 and he charged me 2.00 each.....sorry no pics.
