I was thinkin about it. I've got 2 kids and I think it's time to retire from the game. Anybody have any experience in this arena? I figure most people on here are probably too young to have thought about it but what the hell.I guess my biggest fear would be gettin in my 30s or 40s or something and being like, "hmm, maybe I want some more kids after all."

Does it hurt?
BEST POST EVER!
I think there might be some way to reverse them. You might also be able to to freeze some of your juice, in case you want kids...
I'm good though, my vas deferens is stqaying connected for the time being.
2nd BEST POST EVER!
Yeah I've heard you can reverse it, but it's like 10 times more expensive than having it done... something like $10 or $15,000.
I've read a little on it and it seems minor but I guess it'd be cool to hear from someone with firsthand experience.
The frozen juice thing kinda weirds me out.
i wanna get it done but the mrs wants a girl(we have 2 boys).
I've seen people carry that on for way too many times... trying for a certain sex. Be careful on that one.
Has anyone else seen those vasectomy reversal billboards? I've seen 3 and they're all in the most random places, far away from city life. There's one on the outskirts of town here and I saw one in some Florida woods between Orlando & Jacksonville. I remember seeing a 3rd in another weird place but I can't remember where.
Matter of fact, look what I found on Google:
Every one that I've seen has been the exact same billboard. Strange...

I love that.
I saw some weird ass billboards driving cross-country last year. always in real remote areas. Taxidermy School, Jesus hates porn, etc...
fascinating.
Dude wore icepacks on his nuts for days. Get ready for some pain!
correct
I try to stay medically informed. Knowing is half the battle.
I just have like a childhood fear of knives near my balls. I guess thats actually my biggest fear.
BUT -- its still prolly better than condoms
I could certainly see myself doing it once I've had a few kids. I wouldn't want to have my wife constantly on hormones... I'm sure that's not good over long periods of time. Small incision, but a big decision.
Thats not cool dude. Getting tubes tied is a larger surgery than a vasectemy. Therefore more risks. And keeping the woman on hormones can be bad, even lead to breast cancer. Women go through enough, lets try to make something easy on them.
They go through childbirth, and periods EVERY MONTH and you cant take a couple days of ball pain.
man up.
well said.
It's reversible. My Dad had it reversed when he got remarried, and I've got new cute 4/5 year-old sisters who call me and leave polite swear words on my phone message.
