yeah theres plenty of racial..whatever on this site, but this seems like a valid topic to me. havent you heard a really soulful dude who ended up being white, or a really white-sounding dude that turned out to be black? heres mine:i thought Steve Colt was black.i thought Malcolm Mooney was white.

    Seriously though, when I was young (still a kid) I thought Ramsey Lewis was white... my dad used to play his records. I never looked at the record covers. I thought it's German music... I thought my parents were playing German music all the time... Aretha Franklin, Fela Kuti, Isaac Hayes were white in my eyes... hahahahahahaha

    yeah, i had to read in a interview where she flat out said 'i am white' to believe she was. i always thought she was pr or a light skinned black woman.
