Checked your blog aswell, your remix of shook ones was pretty nice.. I hate that accapella tho - and it didnt really flow that well over the beat.
Glad you liked the beat. The remix was sort of an afterthought. Why do you hate the acapella though?
so here's a few:
Gloria Walker and the Chevelles - You Hit the Spot Baby (Flaming Arrow)
Renaldo Domino - Let Me Come Within(Twinight)
Cyril Neville - Tell Me What's on your Mind (Josie)
More to come later.
Some requests:
Bob French - Here Comes Yer Funky Man
Scorpio and his People - both sides
Little Beaver - Do Right Man
Soul Saints 45 (PLEASE!)
Let go of those sacred ones!

They may or may not be related but there was a band called the original breed that recorded a 45 I have on the Washington DC label Innovation. The Young Senators (later to be renamed Black Heat) recorded a couple 45's on the label ringing the bell being one of them which was featured on chains and black exhaust. I will try to dig up that 45 I have by them.
1. The Young Senators were not later renamed to Black Heat, that is a seperate band and a common misconception. The members of various DC bands performed together or did similar songs (jungle in this case), but were seperate entities. Black Heat arose after splitting from the Day-tons. Originally (and this is info I got from the Y.Senators first manager) the Young Senators were a soul group with a different name, but not called Original Breed. They were called the Dimensions and were forced to change their name in the late 60s. I'm assuming if there is an Original Breed on Innovation they may have known them or worked with them but that's about it.
2. I really don't think this is DC related. Please hit me up via PM though cause I need to talk to you about that Innovation 45 you have, and we can discuss.
