it's good to see there are still records out there. doesn't seem like it though. a majority of those i got from ebay or trades. i can't remember the last time i found something good in the "field". i guess from everyone elses finds there are still records to be found out there. it's a good sign even with ebay and everything.
thats a hell of a list man. you come up on those Cunimondos out there? and do you still have extras on the Marcus Belgrave and willie and the bumblebees?
How's this sound? I only heard the s/t and didn't know they had another.
Cheers, Rob
not as good as their s/t it's fusiony at times but quite funky too. you know how those danish do! i think it's actually rarer than their s/t i've never seen it go on ebay.

Yes, the S/T does show up more often for me too. Some people tells me they like the second one better.
It's seems like people are checking for those LPs a lot more since Julian put them on his website.

I am by far the most geeked about the "Everybody Saw You" LP I picked up yesterday (technically fall). Has not left the turntable. Damn SOMEONE FIND ME A COVER
This year's first flea market got me Nico Gomez - Ritual Lp for 2 euros.
Other nice flea market and thrift store finds this summer were ao.: Gil Scot Heron - The Bottle 7" (x2) 1 euro each The Yamasuki's - Yamasuki 7" 1 euro The MacDavid Brothers - Panky's boogooloo 7" (double, heavy belgian hammond funk) About 20 disco/boogie 12"s for 1 euro each (incl. The Blackbyrds - rock creek park and Gil Scot Heron - The Bottle) Al Jarreau - ain't no sunshine Lp for 1 euro () Heavy Traffic OST (I'm SO enjoying this) for 2 euros
Bill Doggett Honky Tonk Popcorn - 7 (I overpaid, but still a nice find)
three copies of the Mindbender Stringtronics - for free
Soul Explosion - Soul Fire (it's so rare, no one knows it - Gospel Funk) - 1
Roy Ayers - He's Coming - 2
Conroy - Feelings - 1
Hoselmat - 0.50
Boogaloo Joe Jones - Sweetback - 1 (I regret buying it - the record sucks)
Pearly Queen Treasure Hunt - 2
the complete PEER/Southern library catalogue (overrated) - i left the KPMs at that store (hate the sound of the KPMs - way too brassy)
a box of private pressed Funk 45s. some GI must have dumped it. I pulled it out of a trash can. here are some 45s that i found inside the box:
Soul Pornados - Hard Drums - BoumBoum
Bunker - On a Mission - Missile
Poker Faces - Shut Your Knob - Speedo
Strikers - Hot Crumble - GrandPaw
The Illionaires - Ill - Sickness
The Grabbers - I Need Money - CashPlay
Prince Brownell - New Breed From A Soul Seed (Raw Mix) - Bem Soul
YOU SPOILED MOTHERFUCKER!!!
Stay tuned for a new mixtape, dood. It??ll happen soon, I promise!
I found the Rock Workshop "For the Last time" LP a couple of weeks ago, and it is easily my favourite record at the moment. Considering I have no more money, it??ll probably stand as my best find of the summer.

Ha! It's still waiting for me at a record store we've been to in Stuttgart. 15 Euros. A bit too much, but I like that record too. The funky "dustyfingerezque" track is killa!
I'm so busy studying right now! I hope I can finish a new mixtape soon.
