What labels do you avoid to collect ?

    the very first Windham hill lp by William Ackerman is dope. very fahey-esque.

  • pablo got some dizzy gillespie heat too.

    i tend to avoid discovery. i know there are some good things on there but most of it is bad 80s jazz.

    also for some reason i hate most mercury records releases. i just hate the way the label looks or something.

    i like louis bellson's cover of chameleon a lot, and that record is almost unavoidable.

    other than that it just makes me mad when i see this label, since i always just run into late 70s releases that im not even interested in anyway.

    when i go 45 digging, theres a lot of labels i just skip past without even checking what it is...makes things easier but im probably missing out on some heat.


    time to start an alternate thread because i just thought of something

    theres also a break later on on that record. really need to replace my copy, the side with chameleon has TERRIBLE hiss over it...
