whassup peoples...i know it's hard to think about records what with the hurricane possibly destroying aleit's sick collection along with whatever funky records remained in new orleans. but man, diggin' has been really good to me the past week or so! got to scratch of many wants from my list and discovered stuff i didn't know i wanted. here's a sampling:two nice mint promo stezo 12"s including "it's my turn" which loops up Skull Snaps and ESG! and then a mint promo of the first (i think) poor righteous teachers and ice-t "doggin' the wax"implog "holland tunnel drive" 12"...very rare nyc no-wave disco joint...probably be flipping this one. joubert singers "stand on the word" 12"...this is the one that i've been looking hard for over the past year...and i'm not alone, everybody wants this! insane brooklyn gospel 80s funk track re-mixed by tony humphries...amazing.jan leslie holmes "i'm your superman" 12"...very rare 1984 modern soul/boogie joint that is so dope...my second copy of this which means easy ebay $$$!funny story behind this one...i was diggin' thru a 50 cent 12" bin at a tried and true brooklyn record store...i find this Guy 12" so i pulled that out because i dig Guy and Teddy Riley. i got to check condition and this is in there!? it's unfortunately cracked but the crack doesn't even make any noise...so basically i got a playable copy of one of the rarest disco-rap joints for 50 cents! i believe this is comped on "third unheard".found this at the same spot as the rappermatical...another disco-rap rarity...from 1981 and featuring an early mix from jellybean benitez...quite good and funky. got this at a salvation army...they got in this huge collection from some disco-era dj named "louie" who got the best promos...there were all these crazy test pressings...this is one of the best...a test-pressing dj promo of Queen Samantha "take a chance"...on of Bambaata's deathmix breaks and an all around great disco track. got this at a spot in queens where every record is $2...this is a dope early-80s funk joint that sounds like "seven minutes of funk"...the group is Newstar Band and the track is "i still feel like dancing"...featured on disco strut volume 4here's an odd one...David Kingston "our love is here to stay" / "dub" on Starburst 12"...anybody know who this is? there's no info on the record except for what you see...it's really a nice roots reggae track with a bit of a reggae-soul feel to it...and a very nice dub.

Some 67 Samba/Big Band thing with lots of baboon type noises.
A doble
More for the latin crooner loops section
Yup, he's 3'10"
Always seem to pick up a boxed set due to the mintness and the slim possibility of finding a break. 120 tracks, my chances are what, 50/50?. Pleatherette carry case sealed the deal.
Since the wax selection was lacking, dipped into the tape crates and found a few keepers. The Al G & Urethra ones are old. Mary Jane Girls is up for trade for any of you CDDJ og flossers.
I'm thinkin Hcrink's gonna wanna holler at that lil one.
Looks like he's sayin "everybody in the house say HHHHHHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" and waiting for a response. lol
Oh yeah, got this one today. Pretty ill.

post the pic on the back of this LP where Nelson is jumping straight up in the air with his knees to his chest, gangsta and surreal...I am to lazy to scan mine and upload it and all that shit...its 8:11 in the AM for fucks sake..
