This thread prompted me to pick up a Drake CD from a charity shop in Sheffield this week. I've spent ??1.49 on a lot worse. Sounded alright in the car. All a bit too samey tempo- wise but some interesting sounds and production going on. I didn't at any point feel a desperate need to fast forward and I actually flicked back to hear a couple of tracks again.
I'll return and say something deeper when I've spun it a few more times but I have to be honest and say I didn't hate on it. I didn't hear it as Hip Hop either. It sounded like very polished smooth pop to me, and a lot better than a shedload of pop I've been listening to in the past year.

Not, however, the most shocking Drake-related thing I've read this week...

Not a bad read. Any guesses as to which Danish band Ezra was talking about?
Then there's this:

Apple triangulating like a mufuka.
If he plays it right, I think he's going to reach a billion in half the time it takes Jay.
