the poster for Sharknado had been floating around for a few weeks, so there was a little buzz before the trailer. It's all the same shit though: ridiculous concept + obvious one-liner title. Intentional camp value is not my thing, but I get the appeal of it. I guess this has a tie-in with Roger Corman tapping into the 'social media' game with his new pay-to-play YouTube channel. He was on a few radio stations last month plugging natural disaster / killer beast hybrid movies.
It's watching this movie that inspired me to come back and register a new account. I Iooked at a grip of airborne sharks tearing into the flesh of human beings and instantly knew I needed to return and unleash a dolonado on the aging hipsters that shelter on this site like woodlice under an abandoned paint can.

I'll admit I enjoyed Snakes on a Plane, but I had a lot of whiskey in me when I went to see it.
Snakes was a vital hit before it came out.
