wow, great to see people rejoicing over someone's death. soulstrut once again proving that it's the bastion of tolerance.
Speaking for myself, I'm rejoicing over her absence. It should've come much, much sooner. Her death I have no real feelings about, and it's not like this will undo her legacy, so it's a hollow celebration. But I will be toasting it.
So, as a 'merican punk kid in the eighties, all I knew about her was from Crass records. I had Reagan and Bush to worry about, didn't care about the Brit version.
Serious question: Why are we dancing on her grave?
Brian, we know you got the one eyed view of this woman as Ronnies mate, helping to battle communism and pulling an ally out of 35 years of socialism (a lollable line I just read on the NYT Online), but understand: on the inside, the woman fucked up a whole generation of lives, mostly on the poorer side of the council estate.
The woman was a cunt. Deal with it.

Dude.
You know nothing.

The article I linked above offers a little insight. She made this country a great place for the rich while aggresively going after the middle and working classes. Maybe some of the reforms had to happen, but she seemed to enjoy her work. The present Torie mob are still pedalling the same we're-all-in-it-together crap straight out of Animal Farm.

That's right because all dead people are good people and their sins are washed away the moment they pass on.
Fuck her and fuck you.

Petition closed last year. Plans for Maggies death have been long in the making.
Your opinion includes the sentiment RIP, mine doesn't. I'm not about to justify or explain.

I take it everyone's seen the joke about how they both shafted miners.
