Mariners must be out their goddamn minds. Cano is good, but he was helped by Yankee Stadium. No way he's 10-year, $24-per good.
That's a crazy deal, but no crazier than the 7-year 22/per deal the Yankees gave Ellsbury.
Beltran WTF?
Ellsbury's deal is even worse. Dude has had one season warranting that money, and has never been able to stay on the field long enough to put it together before or since. I don't miss him even a little bit.
our wayward son roy halladay is signing a 1 day contract with the jays and retiring.
it's a shame that he had to spend the prime of his marvelous career on a team that couldn't help him out. the amount of successes he racked up DESPITE the team are staggering.
it was sad to watch him not be able to hit 90mph this year regardless of how hard he tried. one of the best to ever do it.

thanks leroy.
He deserves HOF status, but he probably won't get in for quite a while because the current crop of jackass reporter/voters seem to be opposed to putting in more than 1 or 2 players a year.

I'd take either of those players/contracts over Elvis Andrus and his.

RIP, though I thought he had died years ago.
Is it possible baseball Hall of Famers are just dying slowly?
