    So the jury finding was not that the groove was lifted.

    The jury heard days of testimony and examples.

    Apparently the MG bass line was transposed to the RT melody line.
    Not sure I hear that, apparently expert testimony and the jury did.

    I disagree with the verdict, but the award is a drop in the bucket.

    There's a difference in working 'in the style of' and ripping a specific track imo. All art has it's roots. That's not what this is about. It's about mimicking a track and making money off it.

    I saw an add on the wall in my city today with a Keith Haring type figure with a mattress under his arm. His style. To me that is illegal.
