  • I would say J*DaVeY, but they're more of an R & B group and the male just produces while the girl sings. I can't think of any guy/girl rap duos off the top of my head.

Not a group, but a classic male/female rap duet...

  • This is the only one that springs to my mind:

One of the worst groups ever. Are they actually popular in Europe?

No. I thought they were South Efriken.

They have this posted as DMX but it's actually DUO (1 girl, 1 guy) feat. DMX.

Plus, this was alot of peoples first taste of the Lyn Christoper sample.

  • i was going to jump in here and say Positive K - i got a man, so i went diggin to find out who the chick was on the track with him and was like Whoa! when i found out..

Positive K provides not only the male vocals on the song but also the female vocals, raising the pitch of his voice with studio technology.

only took me 20yrs to figure that out...lol

    *Salt & Pepa - I Don't Know feat Kid & Play
and Funky Four + One - Rappin & Rocking The House and mopst of the other tracks they did with Sha-Rock

  • Oh, I almost forgot about The Coup.

Not a duo but all I can think of...

  • The Coup is not a rap duo; Pam Tha FunkStress is their DJ, unless you mean "rap" in a looser sense. I took that to mean "one guy rhyming, one girl rhyming."

at least for a whole album, yeah.
    not a one off

Do the Fugees count? Not a duo, right?

  • What about that joint on UD's Taste The Secret that used Brian Bennet's 'Name of the Game', that surely qualifies.

Oh yeah, just thought of this one too:
