SPOTS. It bothers me because it connotes this super secret heating co. factory that sells everything for pennies. If you cruised over to Arons, thats not a spot. Now I know there are spots that sell books and misc. as well, those are spots. But "spot" seems like bullshit, and bullshit is very bad cause its indifferent to the truth. I dont know, Im certainly no impressario on(with?) slang (correct grammar?)(maybe I shouldnt use words like impressario...), but it bothers me. So ban me, but can we peace out "spot"?Come and get it big boy. I'm grown.

yeah, same here.
My wife hates it though. Here are some of my quotes:
"Lets go to the one guys spot" (for ice cream is what that means)
"Im at the spot" (referring to the place where the video store and record store is located)
etc... you get the idea.
me: lets go to the ill ice cream spot
girl: which ice cream place?
me: the one at the ghetto mall spot with the rocawear spot
girl: oh, ok
I say it all the time too, but its like saying like all the time, I gotta cut it out and now it bothers me when I hear people saying it. Im just bitchy this morning, but Im not backing down. Oh god I want a bagel.
And while were at it... Can Kanye stop referring to himself as the next Prince? Unless he's willing to give himself a symbol...
PS- You can never stop using "Spots" when directing it to places of "FOOD"
T.E.I.D.
SLOW YOUR ROWL.
I'll probably never stop saying it...it's a good explainer as well as disguiser.
me: let's go to Arons
friend from out of town: what's Arons?
me: record spot over in Hollywood
friend: fuck yes
or
there's a point in here somewhere, lets all find it together.
SPOT ON!!!!!!!!!
i know where im getting lunch today...
I found it:
more of a groove, no?
(i shouldnt post this)
more like bump, almost a fold of skin, depending
"yo, let's hit up that ice cream joint."
"yo, I'm down at the record joint."
